It was planned to execute a election for local autonomy on December 1950 owing to amending Local Autonomous Law section 32 on December 15, 1947 after promulgating it on July 4, 1947 in the basis of Constituent Constitution article 97 promulgated in July 17, 1948. But Jeonju City Council was composed of resulting from the first election for the Members of Jeonju City Council in April 25, 1952 after delaying it due to Korean in 1950.
